The OSS OTL weight bar setup is designed to allow weight bars to be over the wireline, effectively eliminating the multiple electrical connections associated with using a feed through electrical weight bar setup.
They are available in solid steel, slotted, and orientating setups and come with standard 2” ACME pin by box connections.
Solid Steel:
Available in 2-3/4” and 3-1/8” diameter and 5ft or 7ft lengths
Slotted:
Available in 3-1/8” diameter and 5ft or 7ft lengths
The OSS OTL slotted weight bar setup is designed to allow weight bars to be added or removed without the need to re-tie the cablehead. This setup is useful when running different lengths of gunstrings, switching between logging and perforating strings, or adjusting weight due to changing wellbore conditions.
Orientating:
Available in 3-1/8” diameter with 7ft length
The OSS OTL orientating weight bar setup is designed to allow tools to be orientated into position with the use of an eccentric shape and locking ring that allows the tools to be orientated with the bars.
