The Wireline Valve is designed to isolate the lubricator from the well by sealing around the wireline while tools are still in the well. The lubricator can then be bled off so that necessary work can be performed. Afterwards, an equalizer port is available to re-equalize the pressure in the lubricator to the wellhead so that operations can continue.
The OSS wireline valve is available in a 3” – 5000psi setup and can come with either a manual or hydraulic function for opening and closing. The whole body is nickel coated for additional protection against corrosion.
